PRIVACY POLICY

LAST UPDATED: 2026-10-02 · DEADROP ("we", "us", "the server")

1. WHO WE ARE

We operate a private, modded PVE game server for the game Rust and the website deadrop-server.duckdns.org. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. By using the website or the server you agree to this policy.

2. WHAT WE COLLECT

3. WHAT WE DO NOT DO

4. THIRD PARTIES

5. DATA RETENTION

Game data, settings and purchase records are kept for as long as your account is active on the server and are included in regular backups. Server connection logs rotate automatically. If you want your data removed, contact us on Discord — we will delete what can be deleted (purchase records are kept where accounting law requires it).

6. YOUR RIGHTS

You can request a copy of the data connected to your Steam ID, or ask for it to be deleted, by contacting us on Discord. Deletion of game data and purchases is possible on request; some records may be kept where legally required.

7. SECURITY

The website runs behind HTTPS encryption. Login sessions are signed and expire automatically. Backups are stored locally on our machines. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios. This server and website are player-operated and are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Facepunch Studios or Valve Corporation.

8. CONTACT

Questions, data requests or problems: contact us on our Discord server or in-game.
